I’m Pastor Steve and I’m the lead minister of Knox Milton. We’re a church right in the heart of downtown Milton, here on Main Street. If you have spent much time in Milton you have probably driven past or just had ice cream in our front garden.
I want to introduce myself introduce myself and Knox as a community. We are a gathering of God’s people in this place. That doesn’t mean we’re perfect, it doesn’t mean we always get everything right, but it does mean that we are committed to following Jesus in our lives. We are committed to Jesus as the hope we hold on to, even in the midst of darkness and despair. We are committed to Jesus’ forgiveness and grace when we mess up when life gets tricky.
Holding on to Jesus helps shape the way we see ourselves and those in the world around us as god’s beloved children, created in God’s image. Our hope is that all would discover how God longs for them to know their loving Father and accept His invitation into God’s family. Our hope is that we reflect something of a glimpse of that in God’s grace, love and forgiveness.
We’re a church who wants to be sure that we welcome you not just with our words but with our actions, and that together we can seek to follow Jesus and embody something of his kingdom here in this place.
